Paranjape Schemes (Construction) Ltd. a legacy developer known for pioneering new-age residential formats is set to host the 16th edition of Ganarang, its annual cultural initiative that brings residents together through music, dance, theatre and other performing arts. The event is scheduled to be held on October 4, 2026, continuing a tradition that has become an integral part of community life across Paranjape Schemes’ developments.
Ganarang has been conducted consistently for the past 15 years. What began with participation from four to five societies has grown to more more than 5,000 participants from 50 societies over the years, reflecting the scale and popularity the initiative has built. Conceived with the belief that building homes should also mean creating opportunities for people to connect, Ganarang has evolved into a platform for cultural participation, talent and community building.

Culture has always been an important part of our lives, and that thought has stayed with us as we have built communities over the years. For two to three months, clubhouses come alive with rehearsals, auditions and preparation, with residents of different ages working together towards a common performance. The enthusiasm has grown to a point where several societies now conduct their own auditions, and for many participants, the experience of preparing together becomes as memorable as being on the final stage.”
The initiative is planned and executed entirely by Paranjape Schemes, with the stage, auditorium, facilities and other infrastructure arranged by the organisation. One of the defining aspects of Ganarang is its intergenerational participation. Children, young participants and senior citizens come together across different categories, allowing three generations to share the same platform and engage through a common celebration.
Senior citizens are an integral part of the initiative, with residents from Athashri communities actively participating . The participation reflects the larger philosophy of Athashri, Paranjape Schemes’ senior living concept, where residents are encouraged to remain socially engaged and pursue an active and meaningful second innings.Beyond the performances, Ganarang has contributed to stronger relationships within communities
