Mayfair Housing, one of Mumbai’s most trusted premium real estate developer with over 60+ years of legacy, has announced the appointment of Anthony Nelson Gonsalves as Chief Technical Officer (CTO). Bringing more than three decades of experience in civil engineering, project management and real estate development, Mr. Gonsalves will lead Mayfair Housing’s technical function, driving engineering excellence, construction quality, operational efficiency and timely project delivery across the developer’s expanding portfolio.
The appointment comes at a pivotal phase of Mayfair Housing’s growth trajectory – the developer is poised to significantly expand its footprint across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR). At the same time, Mayfair Housing remains deeply committed to delivering high-quality developments backed by robust technical governance and operational excellence. The new appointment is expected to further strengthen the company’s leadership team by bringing global best practices, enhanced project execution capabilities and strategic technical oversight across ongoing and upcoming developments.
In his role as Chief Technical Officer, Mr. Gonsalves will oversee project planning, engineering, design coordination, construction quality, safety standards and execution across the organisation. He will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to streamline project delivery, strengthen quality assurance frameworks and implement best practices that improve design efficiency, operational performance and construction outcomes.

Mr. Gonsalves has built an accomplished career spanning over 30 years with leading real estate and engineering organisations including Gera Developers, Dynamix Group, AECOM and K Raheja Group. He has successfully led the planning and execution of large-scale residential, hospitality and mixed-use developments across India and the Middle East. His notable portfolio includes the design closure of Adventz Tower, Dubai, which was recognised as the Best Residential Tower – MENA at the World Architecture Awards 2015, along with landmark developments such as Riviera Tower in Sharjah, Pullman, Pride and Ibis Hotels in Delhi; Verandas and Suncity in Gurugram; and Avanya, Parkwoods and Divum in Mumbai.
A PMP-certified professional, Mr. Gonsalves holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Walchand Institute of Technology and a Master of Laws (LLM) in Construction Law and Arbitration from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen. His unique blend of technical expertise, project management experience and legal insight in the construction industry positions him to effectively strengthen Mayfair Housing’s engineering capabilities and establishing it as a market leader backed by world-class standards of quality, innovation, safety and operational excellence.
