Grundfos Lifting stations Powerful wastewater solutions for residences and commercial buildings

Wastewater treatment has become a necessity in modern infrastructure. Buildings have been integrating various components to ensure that the wastewater is transported and treated efficiently.Lifting stations are primarily designed to move wastewater from lower to higher elevation in the building through the pipelines. They can replace traditional pumps as it will not be able to transport wastewater from these low areas such as basements that are away from the main drainage system.

Grundfos, a global leader in advanced pump technology and a trendsetter in water solutions has state-of-the-art lifting stations that provide easy wastewater removal. They are prefabricated compact solutions and their compact design ensures that it fits in small spaces.

GRUNDFOS SOLOLIFT

These solutions are ideal for homeowners as they enable drainage without depending on the location of the existing gravity-based drain system. They comprise of five compact models that are designed to transport wastewater to the nearest pipeline.

Grundfos SOLOLIFT solutions are equipped with reliable motors and the components thatare resistant to hot water up to 90°C for 30 minutes. The pressure tight tanks can withstand 2,5m water column. The lifting station can also be integrated with additional items such as alarms to improve its reliability.

They have flexible options for assembly and four different sizes of inletdepending on the requirement of the customer. The solution also provides maximum protection against backwater from sewer systems.

Features and benefits

  • Increased reliability due to high performance cutter and motor
  • Fast, easy and clean maintenance
  • Relevant parts that need to be accessed are dry and not submerged in the tank
  • Odor free operations

Applications

  • Basement installations
  • Additional bathrooms
  • Added facilities in hotels and guest houses
  • Bathrooms for the elderly or disabled
  • Modernization of existing bathrooms

GRUNDFOS MULTILIFT

Grundfos’ compact MULTILIFTS are used in modern commercial buildings that generate high volumes of wastewater on a daily basis. MULTIFIT is pre-assembled, pre-wired with footprints between 0,25 – 2m2 and the capability to discharge is up to 100m3 of wastewater per hour. They are powerful pumps designed to operate in a cost-efficient manner for long periods of time.  With a thickness of up to 8mm, the tanks of MULTILIFT can manage high pressures in a stable manner.

They are also equipped with vortex or grinder hydraulics. Vortex hydraulics ensures minimal clogging while grinder is used to cut solid waste into smaller pieces.

Features and benefits

  • Lightweight with the capacity to manage varying pressure
  • Energy efficient pumps with intelligent controls
  • Leakage and odor free operations
  • Reliable with fast and clean service
  • Prevents water logging during heavy rainfall

Applications

  • Buildings with basements
  • Septic tank drainage systems
  • Building conversions
