Jhamtani, a name built on more than four decades of trust, celebrated its 16th Foundation Day alongside the 70th birthday of its Chairman, Shree Parmanand Jhamtani, on August 14. The occasion brought together the Jhamtani family, employees, teams from its sister companies, industry leaders, friends, classmates and well-wishers to celebrate the organisation’s journey and the man who has been a cornerstone of its growth.
An entrepreneur for over four decades, Shree Parmanand Jhamtani has been a defining force behind Jhamtani’s evolution. From building a successful trading business across steel, cement, tiles and sanitary products to laying the foundation for the group’s real estate journey, his career has been shaped by entrepreneurship, relationships and a deep belief in people.
Known within the organisation as a firm believer in community and people, Shree Parmanand Jhamtani has always placed relationships at the heart of his journey. His approach extends beyond business, with a strong emphasis on staying connected with people and acknowledging the milestones that matter to them. In fact, over the years, he has personally sent nearly 45,000 birthday wishes to people across his extended community a reflection of the importance he places on personal relationships and celebrating people.
Speaking on the occasion, Shree Parmanand Jhamtani, Chairman, Jhamtani, said, “For me, this celebration is not only about a birthday or a Foundation Day. It is about the people who have been part of the journey and the relationships that have made it meaningful. The 16th Foundation Day and birthday celebration brought this philosophy to life, with members of the Jhamtani family, employees, sister companies, industry associates, friends and his COEP batchmates coming together to mark the occasion. His COEP batchmates also recited shlokas and prayers, followed by cake cutting, lunch and high tea.
The occasion reflected the philosophy behind “Jhamtani – The Name is the Promise” a commitment built over decades through trust, relationships and the responsibility to create lasting value for customers, communities and future generations.
